I am proud and grateful to announce the official launch of Lanara, a company I co-founded with my father to make a real difference in people’s lives.

We started Lanara to give back to the community in a lasting way, by meeting each person’s needs with a strong focus on mental health. Every one of our support workers holds a university degree in psychology or a related discipline and has completed mental health and trauma-informed training. We offer four services: psychosocial support, social participation, personal care and daily living assistance.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide client-centred support that empowers individuals to feel confident in their own abilities and take meaningful steps towards their goals. We’ve designed our services to be flexible and responsive, adapting to the unique circumstances, challenges, and strengths of every person we work with. At the heart of our approach is a belief that even the smallest moments, just two minutes of support or encouragement, can change the course of someone’s entire day.

I have spent over five years in the sector, much of it working closely with people through psychosocial support. I saw first-hand the difference the right support can make. I then moved into a management role, coordinating support for over 200 participants and mentoring their support workers. Those experiences confirmed what I have always known: my purpose is to help others.

Launching Lanara is a dream come true for us. It is built on empathy, experience and the belief that everyone deserves to live with dignity, independence and hope. We look forward to walking alongside the people we support as they work towards a life that feels fulfilling to them.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
